The Quay
My wife and I selected Dean to build our home in Noosa Waters based on the exceptional quality of Deans prior builds including Grosvenor Street, Noosa Heads and Duke Road, Doonan. The latter was awarded QMBA Best Individual Home 2018 and the National Design Excellence Award. Our design was complex and extremely demanding from a construction perspective making Dean and his team the obvious choice. Dean is passionate about the quality of workmanship and team etiquette onsite, and he demonstrated exceptional carpentry and building skills to produce refined detailing of the highest standard. His personal attention to detail, being onsite every day, ensured a fast build that was budget aware and of the highest quality, despite all the challenges of Covid. In many instances Dean selected fixtures and finishes beyond specification to ensure function and appearance would be maintained for many years. Dean listened to our requirements and ultimately created a home which is elegant, practical and a joy to live in. We have no hesitation in recommending DRM Design and Construction.

As soon as we purchased our block of land we approached Dean to build our home. We were complete novices when it came to the building process and Dean stepped us through every element with significant patience and thoughtful explanations. Even before we’d engaged a designer, Dean showed us examples of his completed products and assisted in guiding our decision making process from start to finish.
When the actual build commenced, Dean communicated regularly and continued to apply his many years’ worth of practical experience. An extremely high quality build was completed in quite a short space of time, and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. We’re enjoying living in a beautiful home, that we know will be rock solid for many years to come.
